Founded in 1995, IIUG is a not for profit user organization which provides services to the Informix community and enables member voices to be heard collectively. IIUG is the most influential user group representing the users of Informix products. Members around the world network, share knowledge and influence IBM and other vendors through IIUG. IIUG membership is strong and growing, having doubled in size since IBM purchased the Informix portfolio in 2001. If you are just now discovering us and are interested in Informix technology, we encourage you to join now at no charge. Your IIUG membership information is protected; we do not sell member lists to any organization.

The International Informix Users Group (I.I.U.G Inc.) is a registered 503(c6) USA Internal Revenue Service approval non profit trade association. The I.I.U.G. Inc. serves the interested and fulfills the educational needs of the world wide Informix community. Informix software is wholly owned by International Business Machines Inc. (IBM) and the two works closely to fulfill those educational needs.

  1. Hello, in the 1980s – 90s I worked for a Unix company, FourGen Software. We had a close partnership with Informix (FourGen CASE tools).
    Recently I came across a mailing tube with 5 Informix posters for the Informix Worldwide User Conference in Tampa. Not sure what year but guessing early 90s. The posters feature black and white photos with “Informix for Dynamic Organizations” text.
    I hate to toss these. Do you know of any past Informix developers or anyone who would like to have these. Happy to mail them. They are still in the original mailing tube Informix sent them in.
