AFDEBUG=1; export AFDEBUG
Enables engine debugging mode. If an assert failure occurs instead of the offending VP core dumping (or the entire engine in earlier versions) it will pause and wait for you or an Informix engineer to attach a debugger.
Disables 7.31 buffer priority coding. Needed if you have version < 7.31UC6X4 or older indexes created or expanded by earlier versions that have not yet been rebuilt.
