Free GUI 4GL and Web Services Training -Rescheduled to July 8th, 2010

Our next Washington Area Informix User Group meeting is an exciting opportunity to learn something new in application development. Querix and Advanced DataTools will be partnering to provide a one-day FREE GUI 4GL training course at our training center in Annandale, VA. This is limited to the first 12 people who register.

Learn how to take your existing Informix 4GL code and give it a face lift with a new GUI front end. Learn how to transform your Informix 4GL programs into Web Services.

Topics will include:

• Modernizing (creating and editing) 4GL forms using the Lycia XML Form Designer
• Configuration Management - Effortlessly providing custom modifications
• Transforming your first application to a GUI environment
• The interactive graphical debugger - How to efficiently debug your 4GL application
• Web Services 'Overview' - What are Web Services and how can this technology be useful for my application
• Web Services 'Client' - How to access and utilize Web Services from other Service Providers (written in 4GL or other programming languages)

• Project Management using the Lycia IDE 'Eclipse' - an industry standard for IDE
