The IT team designs, develops and maintains a number of highly-available, low-latency quoting and trading systems, using cutting-edge computing software and hardware.
We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator who has a significant exposure to critical business applications.
The following requirements are a "Must have" to apply for this position, unless otherwise advised:
- B.S degree in Computer Science and/or appropriate certifications
- 5+ years of experience with Informix IDS 10.x or 11.x in high availability environments
- Knowledge of one or two other major RDBMS, especially MS SQL, Vertica, mySQL
- SUN Solaris experience is a must for this position (Linux knowledge is also a serious plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to function in a high pressure production support environment and make informed real-time decisions based on business priorities and implications.
