NEIUG MAILING LIST

To remain in contact with other New England Informix Users, we now offer a e-mail list that is available to all New England Informix users. The list is free and open to all for any topics relating to Informix.

SUBSCRIBING -- The list is open to anyone who wishes to subscribe. To subscribe, send e-mail to majordomo@iiug.org and put in the TEXT of the message "subscribe neiug-list". NO SUBJECT IS REQUIRED, but the text of the message must say as listed above or CLICK HERE (This link opens your e-mail client so you can send mail to the NEIUG listserv with the words "subscribe neiug-list" in the body of the e-mail.)

If your address on the list needs to be something other than the one that appears on the "From:" line of your outgoing e-mail, use the Majordomo command "subscribe neiug-list your_address" where "your_address" is replaced by the address to which your list messages should be sent. Note that this request will be routed to the list manager for approval, so a subscription of this type may not take effect immediately.

POSTING MESSAGES -- To post a message to the list, send a normal e-mail message to the address "neiug-list@iiug.org". You will receive a copy of your message back as part of normal list distribution.

You must be a subscriber to post to this list. Majordomo enforces this restriction by checking to see that the From: address of the posted message matches one of the subscriber addresses.

UNSUBSCRIBING -- To remove yourself from the list, use the Majordomo command "unsubscribe neiug-list". This must be done from the address from which you subscribed. If you regularly use more than one system, please remember the address you use for this list. The Majordomo commands "who" and "which" have been disabled for this list to protect the privacy of subscribers.

MORE INFORMATION -- For more information about these and other Majordomo features, use the Majordomo command "help". To contact the list's manager, send e-mail to "owner-neiug-list@iiug.org".
