About the Sponsor Program

The International Informix Users Group is pleased to announce a new sponsorship program! Becoming an IIUG sponsor is an easy and inexpensive way of promoting your Informix-related products.

In addition to promoting your Informix products and services, the sponsorship program will help the IIUG achieve its goal of promoting and protecting the interests of the many businesses and organizations that rely on Informix products daily.

The sponsorship program, available only to IBM Business Partners, will follow a three-tier approach. The benefits and costs of each of the tiers are as follows:

Sponsorship Levels

Silver Sponsor

• Your company name and logo will be listed prominently on www.IIUG.org.
   
• Your company will be featured in the Informix Business Directory and will appear before standard "Informix Business Directory" listings when found as part of a search
   
• IIUG.org will feature up to 4 of your press releases per year on the IIUG web site
   
• The IIUG will promote one Informix-related webcast per year for your company, advertised to the IIUG membership (webcast costs not included)
   
• Unlimited downloads of your Informix-related product in the Member download area of IIUG.org (Note: In accordance with the disclaimer on the IIUG Software Download page, the names and e-mail addresses of individuals who executed the download are available upon written request. The list may be requested once per quarter.)
   
• Cost: $3,000 USD paid annually at the start of the sponsorship with a limit of 20 Silver Sponsors
   

Gold Sponsor

• All of the benefits provided with the Silver Sponsorship
   
• Your logo will be displayed in rotation with the other Gold sponsors on the IIUG.org home page, and in the Informix Business Directory
   
• We will create a company web page link on www.IIUG.org (http://www.IIUG.org/yourcompany). You may provide either content for the page or a link to your page of choice. Please note: link target content must be related to Informix software. Specific references to database products other than IBM products will not be listed by the IIUG.
   
• Your company's listing will be returned at the top of "Informix Business Directory" search results and identified as a Gold Sponsor when found as part of a search
   
• Your corporate logo will be listed every month in the IIUG Insider. The IIUG Insider is a monthly newsletter that is emailed to thousands of Informix users worldwide.
   
• Up to six times a year we will post your company's press release (Informix or DB2 related) on the main page of www.IIUG.org (press release to be written by you)
   
• One month per year we will put a story or news/information item in the Insider on your company (you will be responsible for the content)
   
• We will promote up to two Informix-related webcasts per year which will include a special e-mail blast (one e-mail blast per webcast; webcasts at least six months apart; webcast cost not included)
   
• Your company can take advantage of special rates for IIUG Gold Sponsors to advertise in Database Trends and Applications magazine.
   
• Cost: $5,000 USD paid annually at the start of the sponsorship, or $3,000 USD paid semi-annually with an annual commitment, with a limit of 12 Gold Sponsors
   

Platinum Sponsor

• All of the benefits provided with the Gold Sponsorship
   
• Your logo will be displayed more frequently in IIUG.org
   
• Currently closed at the limit of 1 Platinum Sponsor
   

Privacy

IIUG will share no information on IIUG Sponsors with any entity, including IBM, with the exception of information which the sponsor company intentionally makes available to the public via the IIUG web site.
