Some patches are still available on sapservx. The problem is that where
ever this particular one exists no one knows where to get it. I beleive
this note does not relate to our problem and SAP has hinted on a change to
the install script may be in order. What that change is has not been
revealed to me yet.

Isn't sapservX downloading now discontinued? I remember reading somewhere
that all OSS stuff was now available via SAPNet. Am I wrong?

Has anyone upgraded to Enterprise 4.7 SAP with Informix 9.X?

We are having a problem with the PREPARE script at a point where it is
trying to match the environment variable LC_CTYPE from the old version to
the new. Of course they are different and there is suppose to be a fix for

the migration tools R3INST R3load and R3ldctlinf. This fix is suppose to
ignore the variable and continue on with the upgrade phase. SAP says it is

package MIG_30X.TGZ in note 74022 but doesn't say which folder it is in on

sapserv4. I've been trying to find where it is located but cannot. Does
anyone have an idea?
