Hi Keith,

after that what you write and after read note 74022 I assume you're
upgrading from 3.1I to 4.7 on Reliant.
I couldn't also find package MIG_30X.TGZ mentioned in this note.
But as this note says this package should contain R3INST R3load and
R3ldctlinf. You can of course
download these R3... separately from sapservx. In this case it could be in:
/general/R3server/patches/rel31I_COM/UNIX/RELIANT/INF directory
and the files are:
R3load_27.CAR, R3ldctl_5.CAR.
I coudn't only locate R3INST. Anyway I would download also R3trans and CAR

If your startrelease differs from my example (not rel31I_COM but for
instance rel40B_COM)
just change it in the path named above.

Has anyone upgraded to Enterprise 4.7 SAP with Informix 9.X?

We are having a problem with the PREPARE script at a point where it is
trying to match the environment variable LC_CTYPE from the old version to
the new. Of course they are different and there is suppose to be a fix for
the migration tools R3INST R3load and R3ldctlinf. This fix is suppose to
ignore the variable and continue on with the upgrade phase. SAP says it is
package MIG_30X.TGZ in note 74022 but doesn't say which folder it is in on
sapserv4. I've been trying to find where it is located but cannot. Does
anyone have an idea?
