The Informix InfoBahn is Coming to Dallas !!!!

IBM is re-introducing its Informix InfoBahn road shows for North America =
as an "IBM Seminar for Informix Customers" intending to show "how IBM is =
protecting and enhancing the value of your investment in Informix =
technology." and the first event of 2003 is scheduled for March 4 in =
Dallas, Texas. For information on the web, please visit =

As always, the NTIUG and IIUG is interested in promoting any event that =
reinforces the value of Informix products and technologies. We are =
especially encouraged thatIBM is committing a significant effort to this =
InfoBahn road show, which should touch as many as 25 cities in Canada, =
Mexico and the United States.

Please assist me in getting everybody you know that uses Informix, knows =
Informix, knows somewhat how to say Informix, to use the above link and =
register for this event. This is one way of telling IBM that we want =
our Informix to stay active and alive and a separate product from DB2. =
The better the turnout for this event, the more voice we will have =
against the Informix nay-sayers!

Sadly, Stacy Oswald has announced she is no longer able to serve as our =
Vice-President due to her current workload and activities. This =
position is especially important as, once I am able to find another =
position (lost mine in August), if my next position is out of town, this =
person would assume the duties of President until another election can =
be held. =20

As you may notice in the agenda below, the NTIUG will have 30 minutes =
for itself. During this time, nominations for Vice-President of the =
NTIUG will be accepted and voted upon.
