Hello,
We just upgraded (today) our database portion for BW system as
part of our BW 3.x upgrade.
The database upgrade was very smooth. I can write more about the complete
upgrade, once it is done.
We were at IDS 7.31.FC7XE1 and now running IDS 9.30.FC2XB. Having some
problems at PREPARE level.
But hopefully it will get solved soon.

We're considering upgrading our BW system from 2.1C to 3.X. SAP has
approved 3.X BW to run on Informix 9. Have any of you upgraded? Looking
to know how it went, was it easy, any major prep? I've been to a clinic
on
the differences between 7.X and 9.X and it looks like Informix has made the
upgrade fairly seamless.

Our BW is still in its infancy; about 150 GB and 2 cubes. But computers
have a way of making 'easy' into something more. Running on HP-UX 11, 64
bit, EMC disk.
