Hi,

I would like to clarify regarding the mismatch of ABAP dictionary &
database.

Using dbaccess , I created few additional indexes for some tables to
perform better on our database. Now from the database after creating new
indexes, i could see that the query plans for those tables have less
estimation cost & rows . I believe the query optimizer is utilizing the new
indexes and hence performing better.

But our R/3 transaction DB02 reports "Indexes missing in the ABAP
dictionary" which exactly contains all the indexes which i created through
dbaccess.

My queries are :
1) Will SAP R/3 sql's utilize the newer indexes even if the new indexes are
not present in the ABAP dictionary ?
2) Does the impact of ABAP dictionary mismatch alert relate only to prevent
missing of such objects in the future R/3 upgrades ?
