One thing that got us when we went into production was that 6.2 uses 3 ports
instead of 2.
1: The defined port for ODBC connections in the rbw.config ( Example
5050 )
2: Defined port +1 for JDBC connections ( 5051 )
3: Defined port +2 for Remote TMU functions (5052)
In our developement and test environment we have a UNIX process using a
different port, but for some reason, the developers were using a different
port in production and that matched our port +2. To prevent Redbrick from
using this port for remote TMU's, you just need to turn the option off in
the config.

This is in the documents too..

I can't think of anything else..

We are planning a Redbrick upgrade (from v.6.11 to v.6.20; 32-bit) within
the
next two months. I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has performed
the upgrade. In addition, were there any issues encountered during/after
the
upgrade? Performance gains?
