Such joy... I followed the link, signed up for that section of HP's website (an experience in itself, even though I already had a "HP passport" login), and downloaded the 64 bit version. Compiled using that version, and ARGH! - the version of PHP that HP provides on HPUX 11.11 is 32 bit.
So. Install the 32 bit version of Informix 11.10.HC2. Load up the 32 bit version of gcc (since I can get it from HP...), and compile this driver. Well, it kind of works, except it doesn't.
Make completes with no errors. Make install works fine. Unfortunately, "make test" doesn't work at all. Error message:
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'modules/pdo_informix.
sl' - Can't open shared library: .././libifglx.sl in Unknown on line 0
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'modules/pdo_informix.
sl' - Can't open shared library: .././libifglx.sl in Unknown on line 0
And, using ldd on the pdo_informix.sl file gives this at the end:
.././libifglx.sl => /osm/jackson/appl/informix.11/lib/esql/libifglx.sl
.././libifgls.sl => /osm/jackson/appl/informix.11/lib/esql/libifgls.sl
And, the various libraries that it complains about and the "php" executable have the same "magic" versions.
So, at this point, I can bring up the OAT web page, and it asks me to log in, but (obviously) doesn't work properly - I get an Informix ODBC error "Unspecified System Error = -1." looking for:
TRANSLATIONDLL=/osm/jackson/appl/informix.11/lib/esql/igo4a304.so
Driver=/osm/jackson/appl/informix.11/lib/cli/libifdmr.so
Which don't exist as such on my system. I have the same files with ".sl" extensions, so I tried copying them to .so files, and I still get the same error.
Any suggestions?
