Conversão de Outer para left outer join

Viva,

Encontro-me com vários problemas para converter para converter scripts de
select de informix para ansi.

Um dos quais prende-se pelo facto de converter algo do género, apresentado
abaixo, em que apesar de devolver o mesmo, demora muito mais tempo(no 1º
caso poucos segundos, no 2º caso cerca de 10minutos):

SELECT tab1.economica,

sum(tab3.valor)

FROM tab2,

tab1,

OUTER (tab3,

tab4)

WHERE ( tab3.anoecon = tab1.anoecon ) and

( tab1.anoecon = tab2.anoecon ) and

( tab1.economica = tab2.economica ) and

( tab3.organica = tab1.organica ) and

( tab3.economica = tab1.economica ) and

( tab4.anomov = tab3.anoecon ) and

( tab4.tipomov = tab3.tipomov ) and

( tab4.nummov = tab3.nummov ) and

( ( tab1.anoecon = :argumento_ano ) AND

( tab1.organica <> '00' ) AND

( tab4.numero is not null ) AND

( tab4.datadelib <= :argumento_data) )
GROUP BY tab1.economica
