Buenas Andreu,

Por lo que escribes me imagino que migraran de IDS sobre HP UX a IDS sobre otro sistema, si es así el asunto es bastante simple, los datos los sacas con dbexport, y los subes al nuevo servidor con un dbimport, esto es igual sobre cualquier plataforma IDS que tengas.

Lo otro es definir que Sistema Operativo usar, yo te recomendaria montar el IDS sobre Linux, en una distribucion de 64 bits si tu servidor lo permite.

Debes tener en cuenta si las apliaciones estan sobre 4GL que la version que montes tenga los compiladores necesarios para correr tus aplicaciones sobre el nuevo servidor, si las aplicaciones corren sobre otra plataforma el Informix IBM Connect, se conectara de manera transparente luego de tener el servidor afinado.

Cualquier otra cosa, puedes preguntar.
