Es posible que tu script de inicio no se haya ejecutado o al menos informix
no se ha inicializado correctamente.
Mándanos el final del fichero online.log que está en el directorio
$INFORMIXDIR.
¿Te has acordado de poner en el script las variables de entorno INFORMIXDIR
e INFORMIXSERVER?

Hola a todos:
La situacion es la siguiente:
Tengo iniciada la Instancia de IDS 10.00 sobre Red Hat Enterprise 4, todo
configurado, dbspaces, todo bárbaro.
Creo un script para que Informix se inicie como servicio de Linux (en
/etc/init.d). El script se llama informix, y es propiedad del usuario
informix. Este script lo que hace es iniciar la instancia con "oninit" (sin
parametros), al iniciar Linux, y la baja con "onmode -ky" al apagar el
Sistema.
Ahora bien, todo perfecto, pero cuando reinicio Linux, al ejecutar "onstat
-",
me sale "shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER
'elNombreDeMiServer'"
Esto origina que no pueda verificar los dbspaces, y varias cosas mas.
Como puedo hacer para que, al iniciar el sistema, el Informix inicialice la
memoria compartida?
