Hi Nikita,
Please make sure you have run Windows Update and have all the latest patches. IBM has an open tech support call, and a defect logged for this problem but the problem only seemed to occur on Windows machines without the latest MS patches.

Hi guys,
tried to install it for five hours without any success. May be some of you can
help me.
1) During installation got two errors. Last part of log file below:
Copying ICC libraries to gsk\server...
Copying lib\gsk7iccs.dll
Copying icc\icclib\icclib.dll
Copying icc\osslib\libeay32.dll
Configuration file for Instance Manager
....Complete.
initinstance 1 - Failed to set up IDS Message Service as Windows Service
initinstance 2 - IDS Message Service failed to start.
Starting Server Instance
....Complete.
2) Tried to use dbaccess, but failed.
"25580: System error occurred in network function.
Socket not connected"
3) Found report on very similar issue here:

Tried to reproduce fix, but oninit keep telling me
"could not initialize the security subsystem. Please ensure that this account
has necessary privileges and ensure INFORMIXSERVER value exists in the
registry and environment."
I checked environment variables and registry many times, it's all ok.
Of course, tried to search web for all similar problems. May be someone met
something similar?
