Martin,
Thanks for the information. We contacted IBM Informix support and they pretty much noted the same. We checked a number of things and everything looked fine - no errors in our logs and the restore log noted that all spaces were restored with no errors. We made the call to refresh the DR system at the AIX level and tried the restore again, and this time it worked fine. Our system staff is now in the process of checking to see what was done different between the two times they loaded the AIX level software. We had a staff change in that area, so we are expecting that something in the DR document was not followed.
