DATBASE sysmaster;
SELECT * FROM syscfgtab
WHERE cfg_name LIKE '%TAPEDEV%'
Check the results...
TAPEDEV can be changed while the instance ir running. LTAPEDEV can also be
changed, but if the instance came online with it set to /dev/null than you
have to restart it.
How do you make backups? ontape or onbar?
With LTAPEDEV set to /dev/null you can't do logical logs backup....
infcfgcheck is not and IDS tool... if it's results are not correct you
should talk to SAP...
