Announcement of the new Informix-Forum SIG

Greetings.

For those of you who subscribe to our many SIGs, apologies for the multiple copies of this email. Please read it at least once. :-)

The IIUG have started a new SIG called Informix-forum. Unlike our other SIG's this one is purposely non-technical in nature. The official blurb is "A forum to facilitate discussion on any non-technical aspects of Informix including the brand, marketing, new features and product development." In other words it is a place to focus, discuss, sound off and/or make intellegent comment about where this great database is going. Our hope is that the SIG becomes a place to get and keep the attention of IBM sales, marketing and technical people. Why? Because what you are saying makes sense and they need to hear and hear and hear it.

The Informix-forum, like our others, is viewable to anyone but only members can post messages. There is a FAQ posted which includes "how to's", "what to's", and "what not to's".
