Error 874

Just recently my IDS 9.40 UC2 for Linux is barfing this error message everytime for this query:

874: General exception error has occurred in the optimizer.

It joins five tables and has some other critiera. Could the issue be that one of my tables is corrupted? If so, how do I find that and fix it?
