It's been to many years since I've worked on an AS/400, can't be any help=
there.
On the Informix side: If you want an automated process you probably want =
to set up a daily CRON. I'm not sure how much data you want to transfer e=
ach day, but to get everything use DBEXPORT. If you just want to transfer=
certain tables use UNLOAD tablename. Look closely at the flags and comma=
nd usage before you do this, but these two commands will get the data off=
the Informix data base and put them in a file ready to be transferred to=
the AS/400.

ix database and puts it on the AS/400 on a daily basis. The problem is I=
know absolutely nothing about Unix or Informix, and very little about ne=

I have discovered that IBM has acquired Informix so I'm thinking that som=
e way to acheive this has been made possible by IBM. I think the Version=
of Informix running is Informix Version 7.22 UC2. I happened to see tha=
t in poking around I am not sure what I did to view that because I havent=
been able to retrieve that information again. I have also looked at the =
table listing in the database by using dbaccess. I tried select* from ta=
blename to view the contents of the table but I keep getting a error 284:=
subselect returns more than one row. This is all I have acheived so far.=
help anyone?
