There are really many ways to do this, but
Since you are not familiar with Unix or Informix, the the best way to do this
is to use ODBC with simple Microsoft Access on the windows box and using
Access queries pull the data you need from the Unix informix box by using the
ODBC to get to the data. Once its in Microsoft Acess you can then Bridge the
data to the AS/400 box using the same way. So you simply build a Bridge in
your Windows machine. You can set up this bridge to be scheduled to run each
night.
