John, Yes all makes sense to me. Looks like I need to get around to
upgrading again. Lots of work testing.
Thanks!

Subject: Re: Oat 2.24 SQL Explorer w/HDR IDS 11.10 [3288]
Tim:
Claus was stating that there are other OAT dependancy. If you do not
install the
optional ER plug-in then I would agree there is no need to read the ER
plug-in,
but I think you would agree with me that if you did intend to use the E=
R
plug-in
that there would be useful information in the ER readme. The limitatio=
n
that Claus
mentioned is only for ER plug-in and not the entire OAT product.
I have tracked down a little more about this issue and it turns out the=
in
11.10.xC2
there was an attempt to fix a bug which limited the creation of raw tab=
les
when
HDR/MACH was enabled. The bug stated that customer would get confused=
about why raw tables, (or tables that were at one time raw) where not k=
ept
up
to date on the HDR secondaries. In version 11.50.xC4 this restriction =
was
removed
and once again the creation of raw tables is allowed when HDR is runnin=
g.
The new
restriction is that changing raw tables to standard tables when HDR is
enabled is prohibited.
Hope this help clear things up.
