Editorial

I was hoping to write about the IIUG World 2019 registration. We are almost there but not yet. So this issue is late. I plan to have new exiting conference news in the May issue which is due end of May.

We are all excited about the Informix new version 14.1. Having a new version shows that IBM and HCL are committed to Informix. Unfortunately, I do not receive much content form IBM and HCL. I think promoting the product should be a priority for both.

The IIUG is moving forward as well. If you are visiting our website you can see things are improving.

The IIUG Board is working hard on these improvements although a special thanks goes to Vicente Salvador, our Web Master, for doing most of it.

Our last edition, read more in the highlights is moving the IIUG software repository to SOURCEFORGE. Thanks to Eric Vercelletto for doing a great job.

More about new stuff in our next issues.

Stay tuned.
