Experience the rich history of African-American baseball through multi-media displays, hundreds of photographs and artifacts dating from the 1800s through the 1960s. The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum shares the new 18th and Vine musuem complex with the American Jazz Museum.

On Dec. 2, 2006, the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial debuted as the first American and only national museum dedicated to the Great War. Designed by Ralph Appelbaum Associates and housed beneath the existing Liberty Memorial, the 30,000-square-foot museum will feature more than 49,000 artifacts-the world's second largest WWI collection behind Britain's Imperial War Museum.

The College Basketball Experience
The College Basketball Experience, a world class entertainment facility connected to Sprint Center by the Grand Lobby, is two floors and 41,500 square feet of basketball exuberance. It houses the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, where visitors can honor college basketball legends and learn about the history of the game.It is definitely not a museum. It is a high-energy, highly-interactive place where casual and hard core fans of any age can totally immerse themselves in the game of college basketball.

Part of historic Union Station, Science City provides real hands-on fun, all in the name of science. Dig for fossils or land a space shuttle in a NASA-style simulator. Science City is fun. Kids (of all ages) won't realize how much they're learning.

Kansas Speedway hosts NASCAR's premier series, the NEXTEL Cup Series. It also brings the superstars of the Indy Racing League's IndyCar Series, the NASCAR Busch and Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA's RE/MAX Series to Kansas City, Kan., for an exciting season of heart-pounding motorsports action. Each race weekend, some 82,000 people sit in the speedway's distinct purple and yellow grandstand to watch their favorite drivers compete.

Segway Experience of Kansas City

Join us for one of our unique Segway tours discovering all that Kansas City has to offer. Experience the Urban Journey touring Union Station, Liberty Memorial and Washington Square Park.
